PRODUCT DESIGN

The Design and Technology Faculty provides a common core course for all pupils from Year seven through to the end of Year Eleven.  They will develop graphic skills and an in depth knowledge of materials and constructional techniques.  Outcomes will be three-dimensional and will be made using appropriate materials ranging from thin card to ferrous metal.  Extended project work will, with teacher guidance, be of the pupils own choice, but an attempt must be made to improve upon that which already exists.
